Kwaku Asiedu Nketiah founded Kayab Maritime Serives Co Ltd (KMSC) in 2012. Reflecting the growth and success of KMSC in the African market, he was awarded Excellence in Quality Leadership (African category) in Paris by the BID Group in September 2012 and elected to serve on the Board of Trustee for the Ghana Ports & Harbours Authority.
Before KMSC, Mr Asiedu Nketiah worked at Enterprise Holdings and Willow Park Wines & Spirits as a management associate and accounts manager in Calgary, Canada. He also served as a board member of Mount Royal University Students' Council between 2009-2010. Currently he is the secretary of the Licensed Stevedores Association of Ghana and serves on the boards of Oforisef Investment, Boston USA and Tain Builders company ltd Accra, Ghana.
Mr Asiedu-Nketiah holds a bachelor of business administration for Accounting & Management from the Mount Royal University Canada and an MSc. Finance & Management from Heriot Watts University, Scotland, UK. He is also a member of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Production Accountants.
Seidu Adibura Baba a seasoned accountant and business development expert serves as the Chief Financial Officer of KMSC. Seidu has over 10 years' experience in the maritime business having previously worked for Meridian Equipment Services, a maritime logistics company in Ghana as Finance Manager. He has extensive knowledge in other ports across the west coast, having worked as business development manager for Meridian Equipment Services in Liberia and Sierra Leone ports. Seidu in addition serves on the board of G 50 Investment, an investment consultancy firm.
Seidu holds a Master of Business Administration in Accounting as well as the enviable Bachelor of Commerce degree all from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. Seidu is a qualified accountant, and a member in good standing with the Institute of Chartered Accounts Ghana. He as well holds a professional certificate in corporate governance and a member of the Institute of Directors, Ghana.
Mr Kwateng has a total of 9 years of management and commercial banking experience in leading financial service organizations in Ghana. Prior to joining KMSC he worked as a senior commercial service officer at Ghana Commercial bank and also the finance manager for Link Maritime Services. He also worked as the administration's manager for Vanket Mineral water and controller for Tain Builders company ltd.
Mr Kwateng holds a bachelor of science in Accounting from the Valley View University, Ghana and a certificate in management from Coventry University. He's currently working on his ACCA certification.
Dr Addo manages KMSC's business operations in Africa by leveraging his international professional experience as an actuary, management consultant and entrepreneur to provide energy and maritime solutions specifically tailored to our clients' operations.
Before KMSC, he previously worked with A.A Emery Energy and Petroleum Consultancy firm as a Head of Operations Associate, Vanguard Insurance Company as a lead Actuarist, Co-founder and Director of Sub-Saharan Africa; a business incubation program and a Teaching and Research Assistant Manager at Lancaster.
He holds a PhD in Business Management degree from Cá Foscari University of Venice Italy, a MSc in Energy Economics & Business Administration degree from Norwegian School of Economics & Business Administration Norway, MSc in International Business degree from Lancaster University UK and also a BSc in Business Administration and Risk Management from University of Ghana and Carleton University Canada respectively.
Hans has gained extensive experience working as a management consultant. At KMSC he is responsible for corporate governance structuring and business development. He previously held roles in retail and corporate pharmacy management. He is passionate about business growth and development, business strategy and entrepreneurial projects. He is the co-founder of two technology start-up companies. He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Buffalo. He holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wegmans School of Pharmacy and an MBA from William and Mary Business School.
Hans is actively involved with several not-for-profit organizations. He is a big believer in giving back. He volunteers his time and/or resources to assist Akaa Project, Mikey's Camp and other organizations. He also serves as a mentor to numerous students to help guide their career path.
Ms. Nkansah is a Management advisor of KMSC and also the Executive Director of Cofkans Company Ltd. on the platform upon which she shares her experience as a successful private investor and Counsel from her field of practice in the United States.
Ms. Nkansah has tremendous experience working with the underserved areas of New Jersey specifically in the healthcare sector. She is dedicated to fighting disparities among the indigent in society in a phrase which she describes as "Spreading the wealth and Opportunities". She worked closely with American Cancer Society New Jersey and Essex County Cancer Coalition Program as an Ambassador in their Community Outreach Program. Ms Nkansah is an Adjunct Professor at Kean University where she teaches classes including Biology Seminar, Research and Human/Health Resource Management in the Biology Department. She is currently on a few organizational Board; the Ilya Foundation, OforiSef Investments, Shed-A-Light, Cofkans Infrastructure and Ednice Investments where she's intimately familiar with the venture capital and entrepreneurial journey.
She earned a MA in healthcare Administration degree from Hofstra University New York and BSc in biology honours degree with a minor in Chemistry from Kean University.
